Basically these are disposable flat wear that are shaped in to fun animals shapes and are made in fun colors. There are 12 different animal shapes and colors. The handles are in nice shapes that are good for little hands to hold on to.

An example of some of the animals are an elephant spoon, a dolphin knife, a frog or reindeer fork, and bunny spreaders. Each package comes with 8 forks, 8 spoons, 4 knives, and 4 spreaders. The plastic that these are made of is god quality thick plastic and you can use these over and over if you want to, or you can throw them out. It's best if you hand wash them though if you plan on keeping them.

They are really adorable and the quality is good and when you use them with the ZooPals plate meal time is certainly lots of fun. Comfort They are shapes specifically for little hands, kind of hard for adults to use. Performance Very good, they work well. We got the Hefty Zoopals to use as extras for picnics and outside eating, but they quickly became favorites, which our two toddlers use all the time.

They are technically disposable, although they are very durable, and they wash well even in the dishwasher and stay new-looking for a long time. We've had them for over a year, and they get a lot of toddler use, and are still in great condition. It would seem like a waste of money and resources to actually toss these. Our boys love being able to choose which animals to use at each meal, and they like to match them or not with the ZooPals plates.

They have a nice chunky design which works well for little hands, and they are also easy for little hands to handle. They would be expensive if they were used as true disposables, but I think that they are a good value if used more often.

My only complaint is that there isn't necessarily a match for each animal in each bag, they come as an uneven set, which can make for some toddler arguments. Zoopals utensils make meal time fun in my house. My kids love them. It gets them involved in setting the table to have them pick out which animal utensil they want to use that night.

They are dishwasher safe too, so I have used them over and over again. They are really durable and fun to use. They are packaged with eight forks, eight spoons, four knives, and four spreaders. I would like to see more colors added in the future. Twelve different animal designs are in the collection. I can imagine that they will expand this number over the years. I was particularly impressed with how strong these utensils are.

They are much sturdier than typical plastic utensils, and I've been known to wash them and re-use them for my kids at home, and I am usually quick to throw away plastic utensils.
